しかし以前、世界情勢に鑑みてロシアの演奏家のコンサートがキャンセルになったり、ロシア人作曲家の作品の演奏が取りやめになったといったニュースを耳にしたが、全く本質を捉えていないと思う。それなら世界中でロシア音楽とウクライナの音楽を一緒にやれば良い。そうすれば戦争を仕掛けた側も猛省するだろう。世界で起きている紛争が全て無くなる日はもしかしたら来ないのかも知れないが、だからこそ音楽による祈りの力は意味を帯びてくるに違いない。 When before I heard the news of musicians from Russia and music of Russia being cancelled from the program, I felt odd because the political intention to keep anything Russian away from the international music scene have nothing to do with what music should serve. I wondered why don’t they instead program music of both Russia and Ukraine in the same concert, which I’m sure would let the oppressor know of his own mistakes. No days when all conflicts will be resolved shall come, however for that same reason music shall become a prayer.
